Are all Queen sheets the same size?

Queen mattresses are a standard size — but depths vary.
Our fitted sheets are 40cm deep, which fits most mattresses.
Got a thick topper or deep mattress? Look for 50–60cm depth sheets.

Why choose cotton sheets?

Cotton is:

Softer with every wash
But make sure you choose high-quality cotton to avoid pilling or shrinkage.

The gentle folds and flow of its organic texture creates a relaxing, calm vibe in your bedroom. Made from natural materials, linen's breathability means that it's suitable for all-year-round use. For extra warmth in Winter, consider layering your linen and add a contrasting Flat Sheet to your bed. With seven gorgeous shades to choose from, you can express your personality through mixing and matching colours - creating a fresh look and feel each time.

Your Pure Linen Quilt Cover Set comes with one Quilt Cover, and 2 x Standard Pillowcases. Mix and match with a Pure Linen Fitted or Flat Sheet, Pure Linen European Pillowcases, or additional Pure Linen Standard Pillowcases.

Product Information: Our linen flax is sourced from France, and woven in China - allowing us to offer wonderful quality at a competitive price point. All linen products are 100% Pure French Flax Linen - no mixed materials.

PLEASE NOTE: While we do take every effort to ensure that our product imagery matches the colour of our linen as closely as possible, textile colours can vary slightly in real life depending on the type of light (warm / cool / natural / artificial) they'replaced in. Screen type, brightness, and colour controls can also play a factor in how the linen appears online versus real life.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Always wash linen on a gentle cycle, in cold or warm water with a gentle liquid detergent. Ideally it should be washed on its own (not with other garments) and with similar colours. Although the fabric is colourfast, you should avoid mixing dark and light linen.
If you can, put your pillowcases in a delicates bag - this will ensure no snags or other unintentional damage from your washing machine.
Ideally you should line dry linen out of the sun, in the shade to avoid any colour fading. If this isn't possible, or it's raining, then you can tumble dry on a low gentle setting.
Do not bleach your linen. We can't stress this enough.
Do not dry clean it, either.
While you're encouraged to use your linen all-year round, if you do decide to put it away for a season, please ensure it's placed in a vacuum-sealed bag. As it's a natural fabric, it will draw moisture - which can degrade the fabric (and give it that musty smell).

Great quality - it feels like a thicker linen than my other linen quilt cover - which I like for the quilt but I worry it might be a bit rough on my face for the pillows.
I was slightly disappointed in the colour - the magenta isn’t like in the photos. But I still like it so that’s ok.

Linen Properties

Soft yet Durable

Linen's made from flax, which is one of the most durable textiles. We use an environmentally-friendly enzyme wash to give it a supple softness, perfect for snuggling.

Suitable for All Seasons

Linen's natural breathability means that it adapts to your temperature - keeping you cool in Summer, and warm in Winter. It's a great textile to layer - mix and match with our range of colours.

Hypoallergenic

If you suffer from allergies, we'd recommend linen. It repels dust and other allergens, leaving you sneeze-free.

Where is your linen sourced from?

We source our flax (the linen fibres used to make our Linen Range) from France. French flax is renowned for its high quality, durability and softness - which is why so many companies source their raw flax fibres from there. The raw materials are shipped to our own factory in China, which proudly carries several standards and certifications in ethical and sustainable business practices. This is where our linen is woven, dyed, and washed.

What does 'Stonewashed' mean?

'Stonewashed' essentially means that the linen has gone through a softening process, taking it from a raw and scratchy material to a soft and supple one. There are two types of stonewashing: one where you wash the linen with actual stones, and one where you mimic this process with an organic enzyme wash. We have chosen to use an enzyme wash, as the stone process damages the fabric - making it more susceptible to pilling, fading, and general degradation. Our organic enzyme wash preserves the strength and integrity of the yarn, while softening the fabric.

How long will my linen bedding last?

How long linen lasts depends on how often you use it, how well you take care of it, and how it is stored. We encourage you to have at least 3 sets of bedding to avoid high rotation and 'wearing out' of the fabric. Following our care instructions will also extend the lifespan of your linen. Always store your linen in a cool place, free of moisture or damp. If your linen is cared for properly, then you can expect it to last up to 5 years.
